Thanks for Supporting the U.S. Hickory Open Raffle!

Dear SoHG Members-

This year’s U.S. Hickory Open will be played July 11-12 in Monterey, California.  Again, as in the past, there is going to be a raffle to give away prizes that range from a full set of Tad Moore OA irons, Louisville Golf and Tad Moore hickory woods, a Steurer & Jacoby Duffle, McIntyre Ouimet Golf Balls, Complimentary 2017 and 2018 Tournament Fees, to Knicker Dog outfits, books and other kinds of clothing.  An unofficial calculation brings the total value of the raffle at more than $5,000!   See the prize list for what is available.  Proceeds will be used to support this year’s Open and the Society in general.

Tickets are on sale for pre-event sales and there will be sales at the event in California.  Individual tickets are $20 each; 3 for $50 or 7 for $100.

All proceeds go directly to the SoHG.

Your tickets will be put in the barrel, you will be notified of your ticket numbers, and if your ticket is drawn, you will be notified of your prize and arrangements for delivery.  You do not have to be present to win, but, that would be nice!

Deadline for pre-tournament ticket sales is July 1.  That will insure your tickets will get in the barrel for the drawing.  The drawing will happen at the tournament dinner Tuesday evening, July 12.
