Celebrate World Hickory Golf Day

 

Join in the fun and play for the John Ball Trophy at the Vintage Hickory Classic

Meadow Park Golf Course, Tacoma, WA

This year’s event will be held with tee times beginning at 10 a.m. Players will pay their green fees at the course–$40 walking, riding carts extra–and the entry fee for the event–payable to Rob Ahlschwede at the event–$20 to cover a small gift and prizes.

We are playing for the John Ball trophy. John was an English pro that was one of the designers of Meadow Park. The course opened in 1915 and is now part of the Tacoma Park and Recreation Department. There will be medals awarded.

If you are new to hickory and need clubs to play, Meadow Park has several sets in bags for rent. Just call the pro shop and reserve a set.
