Limited Edition Poster Available for Pre-Order

 

Friends:  We are proud to launch the new title for NWHP’s signature event each year at Gearhart Golf Links in 2024. Renamed, “The Columbia Cup,” this multi-day event pays homage to course co-owner, Tim Boyle, and his family’s firm, Columbia Sportswear. This limited edition poster is available for pre-order and will be distributed at NWHP events up to and including the July tournament. Special arrangements can be made for shipping individual orders at the buyer’s cost.  Because of the time and expense of producing these, we’ll take advance orders only for these, and we’ll print only those we require.  Once sold-out, there will be no more.

The poster will be produced on very high quality heavy gloss stock. The finished size is 18″x24″. Designed by Robert Birman, it features the sailing ship, “Columbia Rediviva,” which was piloted by Captain Robert Gray, from whence the Columbia River got its name (Columbia Sportswear was named after the Columbia River), followed by the infamous Kraken swinging a period-appropriate longnose spoon. In the clouds is a Siren who lured sailors to destruction by the sweetness of her song. These limited edition posters will also have a small 10th anniversary emblem on them not seen in the rendering above, as this is the 10th anniversary of our beloved event at Gearhart.

Pre-orders must be received by April 1 (no joke), and will be printed the following week.  To defray the cost of printing and shipping, each poster is $35 and will be signed by the designer.
