The Northwest Hickory Players is pleased to invite you to the sixth annual 2020 Pacific Northwest Hickory Championship to be held at the historic Eagle’s Pride Golf Course in Dupont, Washington. Formerly known as Fort Lewis Golf Course, golf was first played on this military base in 1922 when General Ulysses Grant McAlexander ordered the construction of a nine-hole course. Discover its early history.
The Pacific Northwest Hickory Championship will be a two-day gross and net competition with
awards for Open, Senior (60-69), Statesmen (70+) and Women’s Divisions.
EQUIPMENT: Hickory-shafted clubs as approved by the Society of Hickory Golfers. Period
attire is encouraged. Rental clubs are available.
PRACTICE ROUND (not included): I will arrange groups to play together leading up to the
tournament. Or if you wish, contact the course at 253-964-2786 to arrange your own tee
times. Pay at the course.
HOTELS: There are several hotels in Dupont, and many in nearby Lacey and Tacoma.

June 14 (Sunday): Tee Times: 10:00 am – 11:30 am
We will be practicing social distancing, so please don’t congregate before or after the rounds. If necessary, award will be mailed out following the tournament.
