Oddball (West) August 24

Northwest Hickory Players is proud to co-present–for the first time on the West Coast–the popular Oddball™ tournament, created by Denny and Cathy Lane of Hickory Lane Featheries in Illinois. The original tournament in the Midwest is a two-day affair, with featherie golf balls on day one, and gutta percha on day two. For our West Coast debut, we’re going to present 9 holes of featheries and 9 holes of gutties at Whidbey Island’s Holmes Harbor Golf Course. A featherie golf ball will be included with your event registration.  Entry is $100 pp which includes your walking greens fee, prize fund, and one featherie ball. Because of the odd nature of this event (pun intended), a $50 non-refundable deposit is required to register since the balls and prizes are booked in advance. Additional featheries will be available for purchase at the event, or you can order them directly from Hickory Lane Featherie. For gutty play, we require the use of the McIntyre Golf Park ball.  Players are responsible for obtaining their own gutties before the event.
