Courses
The following is a list of golf courses in the Pacific Northwest built prior to 1935 (defined as hickory era golf courses) which are still in existence. Many early courses began as nine hole affairs and then expanded to eighteen in later years. Some of these early courses were first laid out by the Club’s greens committee and therefore cannot be attributed to a particular architect. Over the years some relocated, and most underwent redesigns, often by different golf architects. Very few courses now retain the original layout. — compiled by Martin Pool.
